On to ear infections...

I feel like this blog is becoming a medical journal. If it isn't one thing, it's another as of late. After spending the entire day with a fever of 101 or higher (even with Tylenol), I finally gave up and took Rylan to Urgent Care. His temp was 104 by the time the nurse got to him. :-( While the quality of care wasn't the best, we did leave with a Rx for antibiotics and a double dose of Tylenol and Ibuprofen, which really helped bring the fever down.

Today is still touch and go. The fever isn't as high, and as long as I stay on top of the Tylenol/Ibuprofen 3 hr. rotation, he's doing OK. Hopefully, this means we are on the road to recovery. I don't know how my sister does it...she always has sickly kids.

Standing and shaking the crib is now much more entertaining than napping...

We had a couple days of nice weather, so we went swinging.

Rylan is one week away from turning 11 months. I can't believe it is time to plan his 1st birthday party!!! This past month hasn't been too eventful as far as developmental milestones are concerned. He pulls himself to standing, which is leading to quite a few more dumps and tumbles. He currently has his first "war wound" bruise on his forehead. I've noticed over the past couple of weeks, too, that his hair is really starting to thicken up, which makes his white blonde hair even more pronounced. Gotta admit I'm glad he inherited that from me! ;-)

Oh...just realized I haven't posted about his teeth yet!!! Two weekends ago, he finally cut his first tooth, which was quickly followed by the second.

Pardon the snot, but this is the only pic that I have that shows off his pearly whites!
